New Claims API on Devsite
Through a partnership between the Mercado Livre and Mercado Pago teams, we have introduced the Claims API to the API Reference on the Devsite.
The '/claims' endpoint will allow you to retrieve details about a claim and take actions via API to resolve them correctly, incorporating this functionality into your integration.
Additionally, we have also included in Webhooks the topic related to claims, making it possible to configure the receipt of notifications on this subject.
With the new API, we have made some menu changes to accommodate the 14 new endpoints focused on Claims. We created a new menu division called "Disputes" to centralize the two APIs that deal with this theme, both Claims and Refunds.
The new endpoints that make up the Claims API are:
Claims:
- Get claim details
- Search claims
- Get the reason for the claim
- Get claim history
- Get claim evidence
- Get claim notifications
Files and messages:
- Get claim messages
- Attach files to the message
- Send message with file
- Get file data
- Download attached files
