\# Discounts In addition to payment methods, you can configure discounts as part of your store’s additional settings and the Mercado Pago plugin. ## Configuration from the Tiendanube Admin Panel 1\. In your store admin, go to \*\*Settings\*\* > \*\*Payment methods\*\*. 2\. Find \*\*Mercado Pago\*\* in the payment methods list. 3\. In the payment methods list, find the Mercado Pago plugin and click \*\*Edit settings\*\* to define the settings below: !\[discounts-all\](https://www.mercadopago.com.co/images/nuvemshop/discounts-admin-all-v1.png) \* \*\*Checkout API:\*\* these optional settings let you set specific discounts for different payment methods with \[Checkout API\](https://www.mercadopago.com.co/developers/en/docs/nuvemshop/payment-configuration/checkout-api). Enter the discount percentage for customers who choose to pay with: \* Credit card. \* Debit card. \* Cash payment networks. \* \*\*External checkout (Checkout Pro):\*\* you can set a global percentage discount for customers who choose \[Checkout Pro\](https://www.mercadopago.com.co/developers/en/docs/nuvemshop/payment-configuration/checkout-pro). Enter the percentage to deduct from the total purchase amount. After setting the discounts, click \*\*Save changes\*\* to save your settings. The discounts you set will apply according to each checkout’s rules in your store on Tiendanube.
