\# Payments with Bancolombia Bancolombia Button is a payment method that allows purchases and payments over the internet through transfers from Bancolombia bank savings or checking accounts. When buyers choose this option at checkout, they are redirected to the Bancolombia website, where they log in with their username and password, verify their identity, and confirm the payment. Bancolombia Button is \*\*asynchronous\*\*: payment confirmation \*\*does not happen instantly\*\*. The order status is updated in VTEX automatically once Bancolombia confirms the transaction. To make Bancolombia Button available in VTEX stores, follow the steps below. > NOTE > > \*\*Mercado Pago Payment App\*\* must be installed in your store before configuring this payment method. If you haven't done this yet, see \[Configure payment provider\](https://www.mercadopago.com.co/developers/en/docs/vtex/configure-payment-provider). 1\. In the VTEX admin panel, go to \*\*Store settings > Payments > Settings\*\*. 2\. Set a name to identify this payment condition in your store. 5\. Under \*\*Process with provider\*\*, select \*\*MercadoPagoV2\*\*. 6\. In the \*\*Status\*\* field, activate the payment condition.
