Configure account
To continue with the Mercado Pago implementation on Tiendanube, you need to link and activate your Mercado Pago account. Optionally, if needed, you can change the account previously linked to the platform.
Activate Mercado Pago account
Link your Mercado Pago account in the Tiendanube admin panel so your store can receive payments. To do this, follow these steps:
- In your store admin, go to Settings > Payment methods.
- Find Mercado Pago in the payment methods list.
- Click Configure and then Activate.

- At the bottom of the page, click More settings on the Mercado Pago site. This will redirect you to the Mercado Pago Administrative Panel.
- Click Allow to authorize the connection.

Change Mercado Pago account
To receive payments in a different Mercado Pago account, change the linked account from the Tiendanube admin panel. To do this, follow these steps:
- In your store admin, go to My apps.
- Find the Mercado Pago plugin in the apps list and click Actions > Configure.
- In the payment methods list, click Edit settings next to the Mercado Pago plugin.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click More settings on the Mercado Pago site.
- On the checkout settings screen, click your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

- Click Change account. Then click Change account again.

- Log in with the new account you want to use. From then on, payments will be credited to that account and you can change it whenever you need.
